I love how cute the Historic District of Los Rios is!
Not too many cars drive on this road that is lined with cute little shabby chic homes and older trees.
We decided to eat at The Ramos House Cafe which is just right across from the Tea House. The chef is John Q. He cooks and lives here. It's like having a meal at one of your friend's backyard. It is so cute there.
The fountain that you are NOT to swim in! ^_^

The salmon was sliced really thin and the vinaigrette was outstanding. It added that little extra something special to this appetizer.
Apple Cinnamon Beignets - these were slightly mushy inside. I don't think they are suppose to be like that but they look pretty.

We both ordered the Pomegranate juice which we were both expecting to be sour but it wasn't. We really liked this juice.
Organic Strawberry Basil Pain Perdu - this dish was quite tasty. I didn't really taste any basil but it was good.
Crab Hash w/ Bacon Scrambled Eggs & Citrus Cream - for some reason this dish was not as good as I had envisioned. Someone on Yelp had commented that this dish was so good here so I ordered it but it was just okay for me. The crab cakes were good and the vinaigrette was tasty but the scrambled eggs tasted a bit overcooked. Plus after the small plate this seemed like too much food.
It also came with a biscuit and apple butter but the apple butter was a little too heavy on ginger and the biscuit was average.
