Ristorante di Madison

It's been awhile since I made a pasta dish but I happen to have all these items in my fridge today so why not. Let's see, we have Organic Brown Rice Penne Pasta, Sliced Crimini Mushrooms, Marinara Sauce, Ground Beef, Chopped Garlic and Spinach.

1) Saute the spinach in a little bit of olive oil. Set aside.

2) Saute some chopped garlic in a little bit of olive oil and then throw in the mushrooms. Set aside.

3) Cook the pasta according to the package instruction.

4) Saute the ground beef until brown. Then add the cooked pasta, spinach and mushroom back in the pan with the beef and add sauce to taste. This was so good even if I do say so myself! Plus, this may even qualify as a 30 minute meal.

As I mentioned in this morning's post, I was going to record my eats for today just to see what I eat on any given day. It's been awhile since I've done this so I thought it would be interesting.

I may also have eaten this packet of Japanese crackers, there's two in the pack.

I thought this was going to be about some coincidental restaurant with your name, ha ha. Never tried rice pasta, besides spaghetti. Tasted like those rice noodles we eat at home.
